Πάρμιος is the genetive of Πάρμις, a common name (33 attestations in LGPN online), of which the majority are in the Black Sea area and Ionia. Parmis is known in Olbia in the III century BCE (IOSPE I2 201 I, 47 (s. Τιμόθεος)), and attested five times in Apollonia-Sozopolis in the V-IV centuries BCE, as well as twice in Mesambria in the III century BCE; also in Naulochos, Odessos, and Tomis.
