Commentary

On the outer flange of the plate, underside, three strokes, roughly parellel are visible, unevenly spaced. The strokes might be continuing from the flange onto the wall underside, but are nearly invisible. If spacing between strokes is indicative, we may have had an iota and eta, from left to right.
