Commentary

[- -]ΟΜΑΙ[- -] could be restored as a personal name Κομαῖος attested on Paros in the 4th cent BCE (LGPN V1-5255), in Attica in the CLassical period (LGPN V2-39115, V2-39114). Χομαῖος is attested at Sinope, 4th cent BCE (LGPN V5a-3503). Κόμαιθος is less likely, as attested in the Hellenistic period, e.g. on Delos (LGPN V1-84095).

Alternatively, we have here a cultic epiclesis of Apollo such as Ἑβδομαιῶν, which is attested, for example, at Erythrai (Erythrai 61, line 87 = IEry 207), 189/150 BCE.
